When asked to reflect on the impact of Project Based Learning for her child, Christen Kirchner responded, ” -Karsten was invigorated by this process of learning. He was excited, challenged and more motivated than I’ve ever seen him in an academic setting. His scores speak for themselves; he improved markedly. I think there are a lot of benefits when kids with different strengths and weaknesses approach the same problem together. It allows for more creativity, critical thinking, sharing of skill sets, compromise, and other skills that cannot be taught by traditional educational practices. I truly enjoyed watching him flourish this year and be excited about learning. Thank you for introducing him to this educational model.”
